Lisa is an AI and a regular and popular trainer with the club, and we can now get back to using the showground for the varied jumps available. She is a very professional, organized and calming instructor and there will be a nervous/novice jumping lesson, and then either a polework lesson or a higher level jumping lesson. These classes will be run depending on the demand. Let Sam know what you would like to work on when booking in so she can arrange the lesson.

Flatwork & Showjumping Instruction from Ticky Fletcher BHSI
Great opportunity to ride at our showground without the pressure of an audience and competing - whether it’s flatwork or jumping, you’ll have fun! Ticky's calm and sympathetic teaching style and encouragement will help you get your horse/ pony prepared for taking you around a jumping course, or working nicely on the flat. If jumping, please mention on booking what heights you are currently clearing!

Session Times: 2 hour long sessions, one flatwork, one jumping 3 – 4pm, 4 - 5pm.

Polework Rally with Kelly Brookes
Kelly, of course, is now a firm favourite with the club, is a kind and encouraging tutor and is great at loosening up and getting a bit of extra agility out of the horse using these very useful aids. Whittimere Farm has a good size arena situated on a quiet yard with plenty of room for parking.

Please note in September we are running an additional show just of fun classes! Timed starts on some classes to help you to plan your day, lots to see and do and refreshments available. ‘First timers’ or ‘old hands’ most welcome – if you’re new just come to the caravan by the Showjumping commentary box and someone from the committee will explain how to join in the fun. Dismounted event: ESRC Evening Treasure Hunt
A social event for the club, get your chums together and pitch your wits against the committee: find the treasure by following clues, ending up at the Hollybush pub at Ebstree, or you’ve gone horribly wrong!

BRC Country Clinic July 18th at Llanymynech with Sarah Warner.
This is being organised by another area 20 riding club, but is open to all area members. 2 sessions: 1hr cross country technique over show jumps. 1 - 1 1/2hr break. 1 1/2 hr cross country schooling on the xc at Llanymynech. £15 per horse. 6 riders per group.  Sarah has evented to Advanced Level but more recently has specialised in bringing on young horses for her clients.  She also trains numerous Riding Clubs in the area.  Sarah is very keen to promote a safe and sensible method of riding cross country. This will be an excellent opportunity for those who wish to improve their cross country technique. Suitable for all levels. “Planning to jump a course” with Sarah Hanson
Sarah is a qualified AI instructor based at Wood Farm. She has been involved with training horses and riders for over 30 years. After walking the course, Sarah will discuss your plan of action to negotiate the fences and discuss any problems you may anticipate before you begin (eg. fear of certain fillers, horse going too fast) and how to overcome them.

EITHER Cross Country with Carla Powick
Carla Powick was trained by Margaret Linnington-Payne, a Fellow of the BHS, at The Mounts, where she gained her BHSAI & BHSII. She has both trained & schooled many young horses, competing on them at RC level in Dressage, Show jumping & ODE. In her broad sphere of experience, she has also competed Affiliated at Dressage & trained students for BHS exams.  More recently she has been running a local Riding school, whilst training students for NVQ & BTEC Equine qualifications with Stourbridge College. Her experiences of schooling & competing young horses at ODE (been there, done that) makes Carla a perfect choice to help you & your horse – of any age - improve your combined XC skills.
