E-RIDERS
What is E-Riders?
E-Riders is a Dressage League that you can complete in the comfort of your own yard and in your own time. You simply film your test, upload it to the E-Riders YouTube page on your account (you will need to set one up when you register) and then the BD judges will mark it. You don’t even need to leave your yard!
Where can I film it?
You can film it at your own yard in your menege or grass paddock. Or if you want to come to one of our Dressage competitions at Pennwood or the Cavalier Centre, you are very welcome to film it after all the Tests are completed in the main Arena. We always have plenty of helpers on show days who can film you if you don’t have anyone with you.
* Please make sure you call ahead of time to confirm that you can film your E-Rider test after one of our shows, so the organisers are aware and can leave the arena boards out for you.
Can anyone do E-Riders?
Yes. But if you want to represent East Shropshire RC, you will need to be a member of our Club.
Are there prizes?
Yes. Rosettes are placed from 1st-10th in each class and posted to your home address.
What is the dress code?
Tack requirements remain the same as BD rules, but you don’t need to worry about wearing your finest Dressage wear and plaiting up. You can wear your normal riding clothes you wear at home to film.

NEW IN HOUSE LEAGUE!
As of 2026, we are holding an in-house league too. So if you enter an E-Rider competition for East Shropshire, you will also be competing against other members within our club for prizes too.
Whether you are setting new goals, building confidence, trying to fit riding in around a busy lifestyle, or just want some competition practice without the stress of others being there and the added pressure….E-Riders is a supportive and welcoming league where every level is encouraged, and lots of feedback is given to you by listed judges who all want you do well.
