What a weekend!
Sunday 10th March ‘24

This weekend our Dressage riders competed at the BRC Intro Championships at Bury Farm.

They had an amazing time and Nicola Nicholls, Lynn Aucott, Nina Winrow & Jenny Millman all competed well on Saturday. They came a very creditable 4th out of 32 teams, with Lynn coming 4th individually and Nina 4th & 7th individually.

A special well done also to Lynn & Nicola who finished 3rd in the pairs competition on Sunday.

Incredible results, well done ladies!

A fantastic day for ESRC
Sunday 25th June ‘23

Well our riders have had a fabulous time at BRC @nafuk Dressage qualifier at Morton Morrell.

Lynn Aucott and Nikki Nicholls came 1st in the pairs with 71.07 % and have qualified for the champs.

Kate Ness came 2nd with over 70% individual in Prelim 2 and also qualified

Then ESRC Belles; Nikki Nicholls, Nina Winrow, Lynn Aucott and Patsy Pyke came 3rd just missing out on qualifying.

ESRC Divas; Julie Whittingham, Gemma Louise Simmons, Louise Glover and Kate Ness came 8th.

An amazing weekend for everyone involved and a huge thanks to all of you for supporting the club and riding super tests.

A rainy winter qualifiers at Solihull were well represented by ESRC
Saturday & Sunday 22nd/23rd October ‘22

We had a busy weekend at Solihull with our Dressage divas kicking off on Saturday with Julie Whittingham, Sharon Stokes & Heather Stiles.

A huge well done to Heather who came 3rd individually in Intro C on Mini. Sharon was 7th on Tom Wade and Julie 12th on Colourless out of a class of 18. Well done ladies!

Prelim 7 for the teams:
Heather 68.86%
Sharon 65.23%
Julie 66.59 %
….this put us in a great position going into Sunday with the remainder of our team members still to ride!

First on Sunday to go in Prelim 12 was Racheal Kneller who did a lovely test on Titan in their first go at Area Dressage. They were thrilled with their 63.52%. Racheal was closely followed by Nicola Nicholls who rode beautifully on Bill and finished on 68.89%, then Gina did a lovely 73.15% on Daisy. Gina was followed by Kirstie Morris in Fulwoods Sensation posting a fabulous 71.48%.

There was a small gap and time for a coffee between showers before Rachel Aspinall went in on Danes Duplicy posting another great score of 67.96%. Rachel was closely followed by Patsy Pyke & Wild Edric also competing at their first Area Dressage and doing a very pleasing 66.30%. Then finally in Prelim 12 was Joanna Vickers and the lovely Oscar who rode perfectly and came away with a wonderful 70.74%.

Next up was the turn of the Novice 27 riders with Rachel Aspinall, Patsy Pyke, Kirstie Morris, Joanna Vickers & Gina Seggar all going again. Scores were:
Rachel 62.50%
Patsy 64.57%
Kirstie 66.74%
Joanna 67.32%
Gina 65.89%

It was a fantastic set of results for our riders and the overall standings left us with a Team 12th (Racheal Kneller, Joanna Vickers & Julie Whittingham), Team 16th (Sharon Stokes, Gina Seggar, Nicola Nicholls & Kirstie Morris), Team 17th (Patsy Pyke, Heather Stiles, Rachel Aspinall) out of 23 teams!

Also a special well done to Gina Seggar who finished Individual 2nd in the Prelim 12 and Joanna Vickers who came individual 5th & 6th in the Prelim 12 and Novice 27.

It was a fantastic weekend and a great effort by everyone. Well done all.

A great day at the Dressage Qualifiers
Sunday 3rd June ‘22

It was a lovely day at Princethorpe College for the Area Dressage qualifiers.

Well done to all the team members, Lynn Aucott, Sharon Stokes, Nikki Nicholls & Heather Stiles.

In the individual Intro B:
Lynn Aucott was 2nd
Heather Stiles 4th
Nikki Nicholls 5th
Sharon Stokes 7th

In the team Prelim:
Lynn Aucott - Prelim 7 - 10th
Nikki Nicholls - Prelim 14 - 13th
Sharon Stokes - Prelim 18 - 12th
Team finished 14th.

Well done ladies. A great effort by all of you.

ESRC flying the Dressage to Music flag
Monday 20th June ‘22

Well done to Kirstie Morris, Patsy Pyke & Nicola Nicholls competing in the Area Dressage to Music qualifiers at Warwick.

Kirstie came 5th in the individual novice freestyle with points and Patsy came 6th in the novice freestyle no points. Nicola didn’t come anywhere but she scored 65.56% with the wrong canter lead, but then corrected it. She was chuffed with her & Bill’s first effort at Area level.

Patsy & Kirstie then both did the novice pairs freestyle and came 2nd pipped to 1st by just one point on artistic marks!
Well done ladies. A wonderful experience although a long day as they switched their times at the end.
